San Antonio Photographer: Letters to My Daughter- February

After having spent many hours in the emergency room, due to what turned out to be a super bad stomach bug that was causing severe pains in my stomach (thought it was appendicitis), I went home and straight to bed. Your daddy had brought you home hours before hand and put you down for the night. Due to my long hours in the emergency and feeling horrible I over slept the next day. When I got up I saw you moving around in your crib because you had heard me. I went over to pick you up and as usual you stood up and raised your arms up to me for me to pick you up. However, once in my arms you just went limp in my arms! I have never been more terrified then I was in this moment in my entire life!! You where limp, cold and barely responsive. I panicked and ran out the door to take you straight to the emergency room.

In the end it turned out you had the same stomach bug I had and your blood sugar had dropped to low. By afternoon you where almost back to your regular self. I will never forget though the panic I felt when I realized something was terribly wrong and I didn't know what.

Bralynn, please always remember that mommy loves you and you will always be my entire world.

Much Love,
Mommy

P.S

You would laugh if you could remember how ridiculously dressed I looked at the hospital. I literally ran out the door, without thinking or caring about how I looked, right after having gotten out of bed:-))

Photos below are from this month's Project 52. I am slacking a little so I am posting these here:-)

San Antonio Photographer: CM January Blog Post- My Life

Sorry for the delay of this post! Things have been crazy lately. My daughter went back to the ER yesterday to have a splinter removed from under her thumb nail. We spent most of Friday evening and night in a different ER for the same thing right after it happened, however they wouldn't remove the splinters and her finger ended up getting infected.

This right here says a lot about my life. First off, it revolves around my daughter! She is the my whole world now and comes first. Secondly, things seem to be always crazy around here... always, lol!

I am currently balancing a full time job working with military dogs, trying to take my photography business to full time, planning my wedding and taking care of my daughter. Plus, keeping up with exercising and healthy eating. I also have a horse and a dog to take care of.

As, I am in a hurry to get to bed.. have a 50min drive in the morning to be at work at 5am.. I will be keeping this post short and sweet. I do look forward to getting to know everyone in this blog group though! Below I have posted some photos of my daughter from a recent trip to the park.

Please follow the circle of bloggers to read everyone's story's about life.

Much love,
Charity

San Antonio Premier Child Photographer: January Letters To My Daughter

As I rushed to the bathroom, I thought to myself, “I wasn’t serious when I said you poked a whole in my nose!” It was a typical Thursday night and as usual you had been desperately trying to get into the bedroom to play on the bed while daddy watched TV. I was going through my list of distractions and had gotten to asking you where your mouth, eyes, ears and of course nose was. When asked where my nose was you decided to dramatically joist your finger at my nose resulting in it going up my nose and poking me pretty good. I jokingly said, “Bralynn I think you just poked a whole in my nose.” It wasn’t but a minute later that I realized blood was starting to drip out of my nose!

With an 18 month old you never know what is going to happen next! But all these crazy moments are moments I never want to forget. This year I am committing myself to a new project… Letters for my Daughter. Letters to my Daughter is a blog circle of moms just like me who write letter to their daughters and then we all share them with each other. I hope to fill these letters to you full of wisdom, memories and moments that one day we can look back on together. Since the day you were placed in my arms you have been the center of my whole world. Bralynn Denise Kelly, always remember that mommy loves you.

Much Love,

Mommy
