Who am I? What am I all about? Well to start with my name is Charity Fox and I grew up in San Antonio, TX. I may have grown up in a big city but I am a country girl at heart.
I am a mother, daughter, sister, fiance and photographer. I know a lot of people say they became a photographer after they became a mother because their love of photography grew from their need to documents their kids lives; however my love for photography was here way before my daughter.
It all started my freshmen year of college, which was was spent at Blinn College in Brenham, TX. While there I worked on a small cattle ranch. As it turns out the owner of the property at one point was into photography and had a small collection of cameras. When they started to prepare to move, he decided to clean out his camera collection a bit and gave me his film SLR camera. It took off from there and has now become a deep passion of mine.
Here is a little more about my background:
I was a very proud member of the James Madison FFA here in San Antonio while in high school. I showed market goats and lambs, plus participated on the quiz, public relations, livestock judging, wool judging, food science and marketing teams at one point or another. My participation in the James Madison FFA played a very large part in who I have become today.
I hold an Associates in Agriculture from Palo Alto College and a Bachelors in General Agriculture with teacher certification from Texas State University.
Today:
I want to be your family photographer and friend. Meaning, I would love to be there for it all and see your family grow and blossom. From your engagement pictures to your newborn pictures, I believe it is important to document these important moments in your history. The photographs you take away from your sessions will be handed down from generation to generation.
I am an on location photographer. All of my work in done with natural light, except my newborn photography. I have a small studio setup for newborn photography. I do engagements, bridals, weddings, maternity, newborn, children, senior, family and livestock/pet photography.
