San Antonio Photographer: Welcoming in the New Year

This has been an AMAZING year! I want to thank everyone who has been apart of it and all the AMAZING clients I have had this year!!! As the year has gone by I have slowly but surely seen my business start to take off a little more and now in this new year I plan on building on the foundation I have laid this year.

There will be many changes this year to my business. One of which is my efforts to specialize. I will be focusing on fitness and children. Maybe a weird combination but it's what I LOVE. Also, be looking out for a new website launch! The new website should be launched by the end of January.

Those of you who own your own business.. try writing out your goals for the year. I have always been told to do this but never really wrote them out. This year I have done it! Thinking I might even go as far as framing it!!!

Those of you just starting out in the photography business (I have been receiving many questions in my inbox over the last few months) should really do this. As well as focus on your education first and foremost!!! You can't just jump in and expect to be successful. I promise it's not that easy. Running a business is VERY hard work and takes tremendous dedication. Keep an eye out for reviews on various education material I have invested in over the past year:-)

I wish everyone single one of you the best in 2014! I personally can't wait for the things to come and reaching my goals.

San Antonio Fitness Photographer: My First Fitness Session and the Beginning of Something GREAT!

This session has made a HUGE impact on my business! I LOVED this session and have been scheming marketing ideas every since! This is my official announcement that Photography By Charity Fox will be making a big change next year and specializing in not only Boutique/Themed Child Session but also Fitness Sessions. Yes, I know these are two complete opposites but what can I say... I love Boutique/Themed Child Sessions and Fitness Sessions!!! My goal is to be a Boutique Photographer who takes fewer clients but puts more work into making each and every session feel more personal and that every client receives premier customer service. Be looking for changes and more information on these changes in the upcoming weeks.

San Antonio Photographer: My Dad Retires After 34 Years!

This is another post that is a bit late... but it's an important one. I would like to once again say congrats to my dad on his retirement and thank you for everything you have done for me! I wouldn't be where I am today without you!!!

San Antonio Photographer: My Personal Family Session

Photographing important memories is a passion of mine but I think to often times photographers get so wrapped up in photographing others that they forget to schedule their own personal family photos. I made it a point this year to schedule my own personal family session! I want to make sure that I don't only have a ton of photos of my daughter by herself but we also have some of us as a family. This is something I truly believe in and will continue to work into our budget (see I don't just encourage others but hold myself accountable too).

I would like to give a shout out to Gypsy Pearl Studios for these gorgeous images! Thank you so much for capturing these for us!!!

Don't forget to document your family regularly and make sure you have these precious memories to hand down to the next generation...

San Antonio Photographer: Dream Factory Comedy Dinner

I told you y'all about it and now it has come and gone... the Dream Factory Comedy Dinner Show! I had a blast and was ecstatic to be apart of this great event!!! I would like to say thank you to everyone who showed up and contributed to making children's dreams come true. And of course a BIG THANK YOU to my fellow Dream Factory Board Members for putting on a very successful event.
